Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be the first Mi MIX phone to come with dual rear cameras. Recent reports have revealed that the dual camera setup will carry AI capabilities for scene detection. Today, XDA Developers has revealed some key information on the camera features that will be arriving on the Mi MIX 2S.
According to the publication, the value for the portrait mode has been kept as true in the configuration file inside the MIUI Camera app APK. This shows that the Mi MIX 2S users will be supporting portrait mode photography.
The publication claims there are several strings of Multi-frame noise reduction) in the MIUI Camera app. It is a feature that lets the camera to capture multiple photos in a rapid manner and then superimpose to cut down on the noise. The firmware files again confirm that the dual cameras will be able to capture AI driven photos.
The Mi MIX 2 users can shoot slow-motion videos of HD quality at 120fps. The publication has revealed through the teardown of the MIUI Camera app that the Mi MIX 2S will be supporting full HD slow-motion video shooting at 120fps. It will also support capturing of HD slow-motion videos at 240fps.
The other camera related features that will be arriving on the Mi MIX 2S include HEVV video encoding, parallel processing and dual SAT cameras. However, there isn’t sufficient information available on what the latter two features are.
