Yesterday morning Xiaomi had confirmed that it will be launching the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 flagship phone on Oct. 25. Soon after confirming the launch date, it had released a new teaser that the Mi MIX 3 may carry support for 5G connectivity and may include 10 GB of RAM. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has officially confirmed through Weibo that the MI MIX 3 will be the world’s first commercial phone to support 5G connectivity. Moreover, it will be equipped with whopping 10 GB of RAM.
Both the teasers also show that the phone will be sporting the manual slider design. There is no confirmation on the specifications of the smartphone. However, since it is expected to arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner, it is very likely to feature an AMOLED display.
The Snapdragon 845 chipset is expected to power the Mi MIX 3. Rumors also claim that the handset will be coming with 3D structured light module that will enable 3D facial recognition.
With 8 days remaining for the launch of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, the Chinese manufacturer will be teasing its other features.
