Today, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, released its Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 2 series. The company uses Intel’s Core i5 and i7 chips as well as GXT 1060 and entry-level 1050 GPU’s. Although these notebooks vary in terms of CPU and GPU, many aspects of these products are the same. While the GTX 1050 version has a 16.9 mm body thickness, the GTX 1060 version is 20.9mm thick. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 2 is equipped with a thin border 15.6-inch display with an 81% screen-to-body ratio. This display comes with a 72% NTSC colour gamut, high-definition anti-glare and a 178 degree wide viewing angle. In addition, these new products from Xiaomi incorporate an infinity custom speaker/Dolby Atmos for a good sound system and it also has a video editing UHS-II card slot. Windows Hello and fingerprint unlocking are other features in this notebook. These products are currently on pre-sale at Jingdong but official sales will commence on August 16th.
