Xiaomi has recently confirmed that the long-rumored Mi Pad 5 will be debuting alongside the Mi Mix 4 flagship on August 10th next week. Ahead of it’s unveiling, Xiaomi has released a couple of teasers which confirmed several features of the upcoming tablet.
Today, a fresh teaser published on the company’s Weibo microblog has revealed that the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be coming with a compatible magnetic keyboard cover, on top of it’ support for an external stylus dubbed as the Xiaomi Smart Pen. This makes the Mi Pad 5 an ultimate productivity companion just like the Huawei MatePad 10.4 (Review).
Based on what we’d learned over the past couple of weeks, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is expected to be offered in three different models – two of which are powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, and another by a slightly toned-down Snapdragon 860 chip.
Upfront, all three slates will allegedly shares the same 10.9” IPS LCD that offers FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, as well as 240Hz touch sampling rate. However, there will be some differences between the trio on when it comes to the imaging front.
