The Xiaomi Mi Play handset was unveiled in China on Dec. 24. At the launch event, Xiaomi had unveiled a single variant of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage with 1,099 Yuan ($160) pricing. Before the launch of the smartphone, the rumor mill had speculated that the company will be also introducing 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models, but the company did not announce them. A leaked snapshot that carries the pricing of the aforementioned models are now doing rounds on Weibo which indicates that the company may soon make them official in the near future.
In the above image, the unreleased Mi Play editions such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage have been listed with respective price tags of 1,299 Yuan ($188) and 1,599 Yuan ($232). These variants are yet to be listed on the official website of the Mi Ply which indicates they will be introduced in the near future.
At the launch event, Xiaomi had announced that the Mi Play would be available in three colors like Dream Blue, Twilight Gold and Black. The official listing of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage has only two colors like Blue and Black. There is a possibility that the Twilight Gold could be made available for the higher 6 GB RAM + 64 GB and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models.
