it was recently hinted by Redmi President Lu Weibing that the Redmi 7 phone may debut alongside the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China. Now an official confirmation through a launch poster has revealed that the Redmi 7 will be indeed announced on March 18 through an unveil event in Beijing, China.
The launch poster has revealed that the Redmi 7 will be available in three color variants such as Black, Blue and Red. The latter two will be color gradient editions. Probably, the phone could be equipped with polycarbonate chassis.
The handset has been already approved by TENAA authority in the recent through which its entire specifications have been revealed. The Redmi 7 will be arriving with a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display fitted with a waterdrop notch. It will offer HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.
The Snapdragon 632 chipset will be powering the handset. It will include a 4,000mAh battery. The 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera system will be available on its rear. The exact configuration of the front camera is not known yet. It is likely to hit the Chinese market in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB storage models. These models are expected to respectively feature 2 GB, 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. The handset is speculated to be priced between 700 Yuan ($105) and 800 Yuan ($120).
