Just like the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (AI Dual-camera) will be getting a new 128GB variant later today as well. The 6GB+128GB model will be the forth variant offered for the Redmi Note 5, and is also the highest-end model in the series.
According to Xiaomi, the new model will be coming with a price tag of 1,669 Yuan (US$ 250) after a “generous” 30 Yuan (US $4.40) discount by the Chinese company in celebration of the Redmi’s fifth anniversary. Obviously, we do expect a more convincing discount than just a mere $4 keeping in mind that its the fifth anniversary of the renowned Redmi sub-brand.
Whatever it is, this new model is expected to be available only in limited quantities and should be exclusive only to the Chinese market. Therefore, those who are interested in getting this 128GB Redmi Note 5 (AI Dual-camera) model will have to resort to various Chinese online retailers.
