Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro to Launch Tomorrow in Indonesia

The Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone was announced in Thailand in the previous month. The handset is yet to arrive in major markets like China and India. It appears that it may take a bit longer for the smartphone to arrive in these markets. Today, Xiaomi Indonesia Social Media Director Lu Yun has confirmed that through Weibo that the company will be holding a new launch event tomorrow in Indonesia to announce the Redmi Note 6 Pro.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro is the first Redmi Note series phone to come equipped with a notched display. Moreover, itis also the first Redmi phone to arrive with quad cameras. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display that carries support for Full HD+ resolution.

The Snapdragon 636 chipset is present under the hood. It is the very same chipset that powers the Redmi Note 5 Pro that was announced earlier this year. It also features a 4,000mAh battery like its predecessor. The handset is loaded with MIUI flavored Android 8.1 Oreo OS. For capturing selfies, it is equipped with 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. On its rear is the 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel vertical dual camera setup. The smartphone is expected to arrive in color choices such as Black, Red, Blue and Rose Gold.
