After a series of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Pro smartphone has finally went official.
As expected, the Redmi Pro will be the first Xiaomi’s handset to sport a dual-camera setup at the back. The top compartment is a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor, while the bottom one belong to a 5MP Samsung sensor which processes the depth of field of the image. At the front, there is also a 5MP camera for selfie-lovers.
Camera aside, the Redmi Pro comes with a 5.5″ FHD OLED display powered by a 2.3GHz deca-core Helio X20 / X25 SoC along with 3/ 4GB of RAM as well as 32/ 64/ 128GB internal storage space. Packed beneath the burshed aluminium chassis is also a 4,050mAh battery which is capable of supporting up to 2 days of normal usage.
Before we forget, the Redmi Pro also has a fingerprint sensor – but this time round, its hidden within the home button unlike its other siblings. For those who are interested in getting this device, the price of the Redmi Pro will be $225 for the 3 GB/32GB version, $255 for the 3 GB/64GB as well as $299 for the premium version which come with a 4 GB/128 GB configuration.
