Xiaomi has begun sending out a new press invite for their upcoming joint launch event with China Mobile which will be held on August 25.
Although the Chinese manufacturer has yet to leak a word on what the new smartphone could possibly be, but Kevin Yang, Director of China Research for IHS iSuppli had confirmed on his Weibo blog that this device is none other than the Redmi Note 4. If the device is indeed the Redmi Note 4, then it will very well be a China Mobile variant given that this is a joint launch event.
A couples of day back, an alleged TENAA listing of the Redmi Note 4 with the code number MI 2016050 was also spotted as well. According to the listing, the device is expected to sports a 5.5″ FHD display, 2GHz CPU ( Snapdragon 652? ), 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/64GB onboard storage, 13MP main shooter, 5MP front-facing sensor,4,000mAh battery as well as Android 6.0.1 running out of the box.
For those interested in getting the Redmi Note 4, the device is rumored to come with a price tag of RMB699 (~$105).
