Xiaomi sold more than 500K Redmi Note 10 series smartphones in an hour

Last week, Xiaomi announced the company’s next-generation Redmi Note 10 series smartphones in the Chinese market which include the vanilla Redmi Note 10 5G, as well as a higher-end Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G models.

Now, the company has confirmed that it had sold more than 500,000 units of the Redmi Note 10 series devices in just an hour into it’s debut sale. If you do the math, this equates to an average of around 8300 units being sold in each minute during the first hour of it’s debut sale.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G Sales Figure

As usual, we aren’t surprised at all by the impressive sales figure given how attractive the Redmi Note 10 series devices were priced in the Chinese market. For those who’d missed out, the Redmi Note 10 5G carries a starting price of just 999 Yuan (US$156), while the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G starts at 1,499 Yuan (US$234).

Although the Redmi Note 10 5G is the same model that was launched in the global market earlier on, but the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is actually an entirely new model.
