Chinese manufacturing giant Xiaomi will be celebrating its 8th anniversary tomorrow and the giant strides/achievements of this company are evident in its smartphone, smart TV, speakers, internet and IoT ecosystem businesses. This company has a stronghold on the Chinese and Indian smartphone markets but its successes are not limited to its smartphone business. Recently, All View Cloud data suggests that Xiaomi currently ranks among the top 10 smart TV shippers in the world. According to the list, South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, holds the top spot followed by LG, TCL, Hisense, Sony, Philips, Skyworth, Sharp, Panasonic, Xiaomi, and others.
The smart TV arm of Xiaomi released its first product in 2013 and since then, it has released a series of smart TVs which has performed very well in the market. In Xiaomi’s line-up of amazing products, Xiaomi TV 4A 32-inch version has attracted much attention. Early last month, the company announced that this TV set a new record in the smart TV market in China by selling over 1 million units in eight months. The Xiaomi TV 4A (32-inch version) is equipped with voice interaction feature. The company designed this feature such that it can recognize the voice pattern of an elderly person as well as the young folks. With this feature, users can effectively use keyword search, movie title command, multiple rounds of dialogue, star search and other voice command features.
