Xiaomi is expected to hold its next launch event later this month in China. Some reports have claimed that the event could be held on Aug. 14 or Aug. 16. A Chinese tipster has shared a screengrab from JD.com, which reveals the names of the devices that are expected to launch this month.
As can be seen in the above image, Xiaomi’s upcoming devices, include the Redmi Pad 2 tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet, the Redmi K60 Extreme Edition (K60 Ultra), and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. The image confirms the names of the tables for the first time.
The Redmi Pad 2 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad SE, which is expected to release in the global market soon. According to reports, the device will come with an 11-inch LCD panel that offers 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with other specs, such as a 5-megapixel front camera, an 8-megapixel rear camera, up to 6 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage, a Snapdragon 680, and an 8,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is said to be a larger version of the Pad 6 Pro. Hence, it is expected to feature a 14-inch LCD panel that offers a 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and a bigger battery.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is confirmed to arrive with a 144Hz LCD panel and a Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. For an enhanced gaming experience, it will have a dedicated PixelWorks X7 display chip. The MIX Fold 3 is expected to feature a quad-camera unit with a periscope zoom camera, an under-display camera on the inside, a 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and 50W wireless charging.
