Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is getting ready for its press conference in Shenzhen at the end of May. While Lei Jun. Xiaomi’s CEO has confirmed this timing, no specific date has been given for the event and the devices to be released are unknown. We already know that Xiaomi will release multiple devices and your guess is as good as mine. Xiaomi Mi 7, Xiaomi Mi 8 (presumed name – could be named Xiaomi Mi 7 8th anniversary edition) and Xiaomi Mi Band 3 have all been in the news lately thus we are expecting these devices. However, we now have a fresh look at the controversial Xiaomi Mi 8 which will probably be one of the attractive smartphones when it’s released.
From the image, we can see an elegant looking full-screen smartphone with a feature that Android lovers detest – the notch. Well, this top-display notch is not in vain, it will be hosting at least seven sensors which will make it possible for this device to sport an iPhone X-like facial recognition feature. On the rear, we have just the dual cameras lodged to the left and separated by the LED flash. In the final product, we will probably have the “Mi” crest at the rear bottom as we have seen in most Mi phones.
