ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition teased again

ZTE will soon be launching a new Extreme Edition/ Ultra variant of the ZTE Axon 20 5G in the Chinese market. Although the official launch date of the device has yet to be revealed, but the Chinese telecommunication giant has dropped another teaser for the upcoming smartphone today.

On the exterior, the upcoming ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition do have some notable difference from its regular model. More specifically, it will be coming with a premium leather back donned in an orange hue.

Aside from that, there’s also an Axon branding running across the left side of its back panel as well. Sadly speaking, there isn’t any official information pertaining to its specs at the moment.

As a quick recap, the regular ZTE Axon 20 5G features an unblemished 6.92-inches OLED display with FHD+ screen resolution. Other than that, it also has a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate, an impressive 240Hz touch sampling rate, as well as support for an in-display fingerprint scanner.

On the flip-side, the ZTE Axon 20 comes with a rectangular camera housing which play host to a quad-cameras system alongside a LED flash. These cameras include a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro shooter, as well as a 2 megapixels depth helper.

Under the hood, the ZTE Axon 20 is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

Finally, the device is also fitted with a respectable 4,220mAh battery that carries support for 30W fast-charging. As usual, it will run on the custom MiFavor 10.5 based on Android 10 OS.
