ZTE will be holding a high profile launch event on September 1st, where the company will be heralding the first smartphone in the world with an under-display selfie camera. As expected, this device will fall under the company’s renowned Axon lineup and will be marketed as the Axon 20 5G.
Earlier this week, ZTE’s President of Mobile Devices Ni Fei had released the first-ever render of the Axon 20 5G which revealed the front and rear design of the device in full glory.
Fast-forward three days, he’s now back with a new promo poster which show off the device in four different colorways including Black, Purple, Rose Gold, as well as Blue.
Courtesy of its 32MP under-display selfie camera, the ZTE Axon 20 5G is able to feature an unblemished front display which offers a high screen-to-body ratio. According to its TENAA listing, its front display will be a 6.92-inches FHD+ AMOLED display which has an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Over on its back, its quad-cameras system will include a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras which are likely to be a macro camera and depth sensor.
Sad to say, there isn’t any concrete information regarding its underlying chipset. However, speculations have been rife that the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC which will place it in the upper mid-ranger segment. This will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
At the helm, the Axon 20 5G will be fitted with a 4,120mAh battery with an unspecified fast-charging support. If the price is good, it is no doubt the Axon 20 5G will be one of the most attractive upper mid-ranger handset in the market which brings new innovations to the crowd.
