Last week, ZTE released the first teaser of the upcoming Axon 30 smartphone. The teaser suggested that the device could be sporting an in-display fingerprint sensor. Today, the company released a new poster to confirm the “ZTE Axon 30 Pro” moniker for its next flagship. The handset will be arriving with top-notch cameras.
The Axon 30 Pro poster seems to show a silhouette of its rear camera setup. ZTE President Ni Fei claimed today that the Axon 30 Pro will be equipped with the industry’s most powerful and pioneering imaging functions. Fei had made the same claim in December.
The Chinese firm is yet to reveal any information on the camera sensors that will be available on the Axon 30 Pro. The flagship phone will be driven by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. The company is expected to announce the Axon 30 series after the Chinese Spring Festival, which falls on Feb. 12.
Apart from the ZTE Axon 30 series, the company is also bringing two other Snapdragon 888 phones such as Nubia Z and Red Magic 6 in the coming months. At present, there is no information on the specs of the Nubia Z. As far as the Red Magi 6 series gaming phone is concerned, it is speculated to go official as early as next month.
The Red Magic 6 series may include two models. The vanilla model is expected to arrive with a 66W charger, whereas the Pro model could be equipped with a 120W charger. One of these models may feature a 4,500mAh battery. A leaked photo that appeared in the previous week revealed that it will be arriving with a refreshed design.
