ZTE’s next launch event will be held on May 9 in China. The smartphones that are expected to launch at the event include the Axon 40, Axon 40 Pro, and Axon 40 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the Axon 40 Ultra appeared in the database of the TENAA certification site with all its specifications. The listing has ended all the mystery surrounding the major specs of the device.
ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Specifications
The Axon 40 Ultra (model number ZTE A2023P) houses a 6.81-inch OLED screen that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels. It is equipped with an under-display selfie camera of 16-megapixel and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. As can be seen in the official render, the screen has extremely curved edges and promises a full-screen experience.
The back panel of the Axon 40 Ultra lineup has three 64-megapixel cameras. This phone has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main camera, a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64GB periscope camera for taking pictures.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is present under the hood of the Axon 40 Ultra. The TENAA listing states that the device will arrive with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage. While the exact version of the Android OS is not mentioned in the TENAA listing, it is likely to come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and MiFavor UI.
