At the beginning of the IFA 2018, ZTE introduced the Axon 9 Pro flagship phone. At the launch event, the company confirmed that the handset will be heading to the European markets later this month with a price tag of 649 euros. Today, the smartphone has appeared with its model number of ZTE A2019 Pro on TENAA. This suggests that the Axon 9 Pro may debut in China soon.
The specifications of the ZTE Axon 9 Pro mentioned on the website of the Chinese regulatory body show that it features a 6.21-inch OLED screen that produces Full HD+ resolution of 2248 x 1080 pixels. It measures 156.5 x 74.5 x 7.9mm and it weighs 179 grams. It has a black front and a blue rear. The back panel of the phone features a fingerprint reader. The handset is packed with a 3,900mAh battery.
The Snapdragon 845 chipset powers the Axon 9 Pro even though it is not mentioned directly on TENAA. At IFA 2018, the handset was introduced with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The TENAA listing of the phone reveals that it will be arriving in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM options and 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB storage variants in China. It also features a microSD card slot. For photography, it is expected to feature 20-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual camera setup and a front-facing camera of 20-megapixel.
