Chinese telecommunication giant ZTE has announced a new entry-level smartphone in the European markets known as the ZTE Blade A72 5G which carries an affordable launch price of just 199.90 Euros (US$210).
The new ZTE Blade A72 5G smartphone builds around a 6.52” IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera tucked into it’s waterdrop-notch along it’s upper bezel.
Coming over to the rear side of the phone, we’ll be greeted by a rectangular camera island which houses a trio of cameras which include a 13 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the ZTE Blade A72 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset that will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a respectable 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with a custom MiFavor 11 based on Android 11 OS out of the box. Interested parties can get the phone from two different colorways such as Blue and Gray.
