ZTE Quartz has recently cleared FCC certification and its arrival seems to be close at hand as fresh live photos of the smartwatch has appeared. As it can be seen in the following images, the ZTE Quartz has a round-shaped screen with metallic chassis. Its patterned strap appears to be made up of rubber.
One of the leaked photos show that it is running on Android Wear 2.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. Rumors have it that it does not feature heart rate monitor, NFC or LTE connectivity. However, it seems to carry support for 2G/3G connectivity. It means it may work as a standalone smartwatch for making calls without pairing it with a smartphone.
One of the images showcases its charging pad that has four pins. It does not seem to feature a rotating crown. However, it features a single button its right edge. Other rumored features of the alleged ZTE Quartz include v4.0 Bluetooth and single band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
It appears to a budget-friendly that is not built to rival with the feature-rich LG Watch Style. Since the smartwatch has already cleared certifications like FCC and Bluetooth SIG, it is likely that it will be unveiled soon.
