Earlier today, an alleged teaser of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has surfaced via Chinese Weibo, showcasing its iPhone 7 Plus alike dual-camera setup at the back of the device.
The current rumors of the Mi Note 2 in Chinese Weibo also seem to suggest that the device may be announced earlier than the previous purported November release date. Surely, the Chinese manufacturer will definitely want to be ahead of the Huawei Mate 9 launch event which will be due on November 3rd, exactly one month for now.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to feature a 5.7? 2K curved display, a Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13 megapixels dual-rear camera as well as a 8MP front-camera for selfies and video call purposes.
While its certainly a good idea to have more choices and wider product range for their customers, but it seems like Xiaomi’s urgency may possibly backfire as they are already lacking creativity in terms of their smartphone design recently. As a vivid Xiaomi’s fan. I certainly hope the Mi Note 2 will be a breakthrough for the Chinese smartphone giant once again.
