Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, seem to be all over the news in recent times. The company is set to unveil its recent flagship, Xiaomi Mi 8 along with Xiaomi Mi Band 3 and MIUI 10 on May 31. The rumor mill is still spinning with regards to its Shenzhen conference yet, we have a new phone making an appearance online. We are talking about the Xiaomi Redmi 6. According to the latest news, Xiaomi may bring another new machine at this conference, most likely from the Redmi series. Now some real-life images of this smartphone have surfaced online.
From the current exposure, the appearance of this smartphone looks quite sleek and the bottom has a chin while the all-metal rear comes with a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup with a fingerprint sensor. It appears that Xiaomi has succumbed to the notch idea. It was one of the few companies (with Samsung) that believed in the tri-bezel-less idea which Android users really love but in recent times, we have seen many notched phones from Xiaomi.
From previous rumors, this smartphone will likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage. Its display will be a 5.99-inch 720p+ full-screen and we expect that it will run on Android Oreo. There is no news regarding its price and other features as of now.
