As per the leak, the Redmi K80 Pro will have an OmniVision OV32B 20-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. This is an upgrade, as the K70 Pro features a 16-megapixel OmniVision front camera.

The K70 Pro came equipped with a 50-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 50-megapixel triple camera setup. The latest leak indicates that the K80 Pro will maintain the OmniVision 800 50-megapixel primary camera, a feature available on the previous model.

The K80 Pro’s camera setup will feature upgraded ultra-wide and telephoto cameras. The new leak reveals the inclusion of a 32-megapixel Samsung S5KKD1 ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera with 2.6x optical zoom.

Recently, a new Redmi phone was seen in the hands of Xiaomi Vice President Wang Xiaoyan. This new phone with a round camera module on the back is said to be a Redmi K80 series device.

Under the hood, the K80 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device has reportedly passed 3C certification in China, revealing support for 120W fast charging. There is a possibility that the device be equipped with a 6,000mAh or 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. It is also said to feature a 2K OLED panel with a flat design and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to run on HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15.
