Recent reports have revealed that Motorola is working on the Razr 70 lineup, which includes the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra. The brand has now officially confirmed that it will unveil new Razr models on April 29 globally. Most likely, the Razr 70 series will be unveiled on the said date.
Motorola Razr 70 series: What’s known so far?
The specifications of the Razr 70 and 70 Ultra have already surfaced as they have appeared in the database of China’s TENAA certification platform. The listings have suggested that the Razr 70 lineup may not be a major upgrade over the previous generation.
The Razr 70 is said to feature a new chip and pack a dual 50-megapixel camera setup on the back. The rest of the specs are likely to be identical to the Razr 60, which featured a 50-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back.
The Razr 70 Ultra may not see a chip upgrade as it is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which also powers the last year’s Razr 60 Ultra. One major upgrade that is expected to seen on the Razr 70 Ultra is in the battery department. While the predecessor packed a 4,700mAh battery, the successor model may house a larger 5,000mAh unit.
Apart from this, the Lenoveo-owned bran dis also working on the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, which is scheduled to launch on April 23 in India. It is speculated that the said phone will also debut globally alongside the Razr 70 models on April 29.
