1. Download the adb driver and root14.zip files.
2. Make sure there is at least 80% battery left on your device before you proceed.
3. Turn on USB Debugging on your tablet by going to  Settings > Developer options > USB debugging.

1. Extract the adb driver to a folder on your desktop.
2. Inside the folder, run the Kindle Fire ADB drivers.exe program by double-clicking on it. This will install the ADB driver on your PC.

4. Extract the root14.zip to a folder on your PC.
5. Inside the extracted folder, double click on the runme.bat and follow the onscreen instructions.
