HMD Global has confirmed that the company will be holding an official press event during the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 held in Barcelona.
Quite a number of smartphones are expected to be announced during the event, but all of which are entry-level and mid-ranger smartphones. These devices include the Nokia 1.3, Nokia 5.2, as well as Nokia 8.2 5G.
Although there were rumors that the Finnish company may debut their highly-anticipated Nokia 9.2 PureView flagship device during the MWC 2020, but recent reports had denied this possibility.
The Nokia 9.2 PureView is rumored to feature an under-display selfie camera instead of the conventional notch-like or hole-punched selfie cameras.
However, it may still takes some time before this technology to enter mass production which explains why the Nokia 9.2 PureView may miss out on the upcoming MWC 2020.
Besides that, HMD Global may also announce the world’s first Android-based feature phone known as Nokia 400.
