Official: ZTE Blade V40 Design debuts with UNISOC Tiger T616 & 50MP triple cameras

Chinese telecommunication giant ZTE has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the ZTE Blade V40 Design in the Malaysian market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just RM649 ($146).

The new ZTE Blade V40 Design features a 6.6” IPS LCD display sporting a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.

Over at the back, the phone comes with a dual-ring camera design camera which houses a triple-camera system lead by a 50 megapixels main camera along with a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the ZTE Blade V40 Design is powered by an octa-core UNISOC Tiger T616 chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast wired charging support. Other than that, it also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as Android 12 OS.

Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Sky Blue and Starry Black.
