Sony Xperia J receives Jelly Bean update

We have no idea why, but don’t you think there are way too many updates being rolled out this week – especially for the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. Today, Sony seems to join in the fun by pushing out the Jelly Bean to the long forgotten Xperia J which runs on a single-core processor and just 512 MB of RAM. Hopefully this update will bring an improvement to it’s battery life, which has been plaguing many users for a long time.

If you’ve yet to receive the OTA update notification from Sony, you can do a manual check by going to Settings > About phone > System software updates.

Have you brought the Jelly Bean flavor to your Xperia J? Share your experience with us if you’ve updated!
