Xiaomi Mi 6 could be unveiled in March as hinted by its co-founder

During a conference held in China yesterday, Xiaomi’s Co-founder Li WanQiang has confirmed that the company is currently prepping a new stunning handset which had been slated to be unveiled somewhere in March this year.

Of course, the first question that comes to our mind will be what exactly is this device? Looking at Xiaomi’s product timeline for the past few years, we’re pretty sure the device in question is none other than the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship which has been a popular subject in the rumor mills recently.

Just in case you’d missed out, an alleged benchmark test of the device has shown the device running on a Snapdragon 835 SoC under its listing which provides more credence to the earlier rumors that it could be one of the first handsets to be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon powerhouse. Of course, given the significantly bumped up specs, there is no doubt more reports claiming that the device could cost more than their current flagship.
