The Asus ZenFone 4 series smartphones were previously rumored to launch in May, but it appears that the Taiwanese company will finally debut them on August 19. The unveil event will be held in Philippines. One of the ZenFone 4 series phones include the ZenFone 4 Pro flagship phone that is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset.
Soon after the unveil event of Asus on Aug. 19, the highly anticipated flagship phones such as Galaxy Note 8, LG V30 and iPhone 8 will be announced in quick succession. Even though the ZenFone 4 Pro is packed with impressive specs such as a 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 835, 6 GB of RAM and 21-megapixel dual rear cameras, its sales will be severely impacted the upcoming flagship phones from major brands.
The Asus ZenFone 4 Max that has been already made official belongs to the ZenFone 4 series. The ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Pro and ZenFone 4V are slated to get announced on Aug. 19. The ZenFone 4 is expected to arrive Snapdragon 630 and 660 chipset variants and these phones are also rumored to be equipped with dual rear cameras. The ZenFone 4V is speculated as a Verizon only variant and the selfie-centric ZenFone 4 Selfie is pegged to come with specs such as 5.5-inch FHD screen, Snapdragon 625 or 626 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 12-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
