However before we begin, I would like to warn you that during the process of rooting, there is a risk of bricking your own device.   1. Download the vcoreroot-v2.tar file, as well as the Odin_1.85.rar file.
  2. Extract the  Odin_1.85.rar file to the desktop.
  3. After you’ve successfully extracted, run the Odin software.
  4. On the program, click on the PDA button and locate the vcoreroot-v2.tar file.
  5. Under the options setting, make sure only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are ticked.
  6. Reboot your device to Download Mode by Down + Home + Power buttons simultaneously for a moment.
  7. Connect your device to the PC using the USB cable that come together with your Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3.
  8. Once you’ve connected to the PC, the device driver will automatically be installed and the ID:COM field on the program should also turn green.
  9. Click on start to begin rooting the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3.
  10. After a moment, the device will automatically reboot.
  11. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3!
