How to root the Sharp Aquos SH930W using FramarootThe Sharp Aquos SH930W was released back in November last year, and is one of the first Android smartphone that comes with a 1080p display – apart from the HTC J Butterfly. Besides its incredible retina display, the Sharp Aquos SH930W doesn’t really impress us with its specifications which fetch a score of just 10,197 in AnTuTu Benchmark. That being said, we’re still able to tweak the performance of the device, by overclocking its processing power. To do so, we must first have root-access on the device itself. If you have no idea how to do so, this tutorial will guide you on actually how to root the Sharp Aquos SH930W.

Follow the steps below on how to root the Sharp Aquos SH930W

  1. Download the Framaroot apk and place it on your desktop.
  2. Connect the Sharp Aquos SH930W to your PC.
  3. Copy and paste the Framaroot apk from your desktop over to your device’s SD card.
  4. Make sure that you have checked the Unknown Sources option under your device’s security settings before you proceed.
  5. Launch your file explorer from your app drawer ( if you do not have one, you can download ES File Explorer from the Play Store ) and install the Framaroot apk from your SD card.
  6. Launch the Framaroot app on your Sharp Aquos SH930W.
  7. Select install Superuser.
  8. Tap on the Gandalf option in the app.
  9. Framaroot Success Pop-upWait for a success pop-up to appear on the screen.
  10. Reboot your device.
  11. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted the Sharp Aquos SH930W.
