How to root ThL 4000 using the vroot program

How to root ThL 4000The ThL 4000 is the latest mid-range Android smartphone introduced by Chinese manufacturer ThL back in September this year. This is yet another impressive budget handset which not only has a sleek design, but also a decent spec sheet as well. The ThL 4000 rocks a 4.7″ qHD display powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Other key specs include a 8GB internal storage, microSD slot, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 4,000mAh removable battery as well as Android 4.4 KitKat running out of the box.

Like most other Android smartphones, we can root ThL 4000 rather easily as well. In the following tutorial, I will be guiding you guys on how to root ThL 4000 in less than an hour using the vroot program.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting ThL 4000

  1. Download the vroot program to your PC.
  2. Make sure you have installed the necessary device driver before moving on. If you have do not so, you can download the device’s driver here.
  3. Make sure you have enabled USB Debugging from your device’s settings.
  4. Make sure there is more than 50% battery remaining on your ThL 4000 smartphone.
  5. Back up your ThL 4000 smartphone.

Follow the steps below on how to root ThL 4000

  1. Install vroot on your PC by double-clicking on its icon and follow the onscreen instructions.
  2. Connect the ThL 4000 to your Windows-based PC using an appropriate USB cable.
  3. Next, ensure that your PC is able to detect your device before you move on with the rest of the steps.

  5. On the vroot program, click on the ROOT button ( Green button ) to begin rooting ThL 4000.

  8. The ThL 4000 will then automatically reboot itself.
  9. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted ThL 4000!
