Huawei Mate 20 X 5G to Debut on July 26 in China

Huawei has sent out invites for July 26 launch event for its Huawei Mate 20 X 5G. As it is known, it is a 5G version of the Mate 20 X gaming-centric smartphone that was announced in October last year. It is likely that the Chinese firm will release an official confirmation on the July 26 arrival of Mate 20 X 5G.

The Mate 20 X 5G has passed all the necessary certifications in China such as TENAA and 3C. The Mate 20 X 5G image have revealed that it will be arriving in a distinctive Emerald Green color and it will be sporting a 5G logo on its rear. In terms of specs, it will include identical innards along with 5G related modifications. For 5G connectivity, it will be equipped with Balong 5G modem. The regular Mate 20 X has a behemoth battery of 5,000mAh capacity. However, its 5G edition will feature a 4,200mAh battery. The Mate 20 X 5G is already ready for purchase in European markets and UAE and it now its heading to China.

The Mate 20 X 5G includes a 7.2-inch OLED display with waterdrop notch. The smartphone is equipped with 40-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 20-megapixel triple rear cameras and a 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The Kirin 980 chipset powers the smartphone. The EMUI 9.1 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The TENAA listing of the phone has suggested that it may debut in options such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage in the home market.
