Huawei Mate 30 Lite live images reveal a hole-punch selfie camera

Last week, the Chinese TENAA authority released a couple of Huawei Mate 30 Lite (aka Nova 5i Pro) live images on its website.

Right now, a new set of alleged Mate 30 Lite images have made its way to Chinese Weibo as well – revealing a seemingly similar design as what we’d seen earlier on.

On its back panel, there is a square camera housing for its quad-camera setup which comprises of a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. Beneath the camera compartment, there is also a physical fingerprint sensor which the Chinese smartphone maker has opted for instead of an under-display sensor.

On the front panel, there is a hole-punched selfie camera located at the top-left corner which is said to house a 32 megapixel sensor. Overall, its front panel shares a close resemblance to that of the Huawei Nova 5i except for its slightly smaller display size.

According to the official TENAA listing, the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Lite will arrive with a 6.26-inches IPS display with full HD+ resolution. The device will be driven by the latest Kirin 810 SoC alongside  6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB internal storage space. Under the hood, there is a 3,900mAh non-removable battery which is capable of supporting hours of continuous usages on the go.

As of now, Huawei has yet to reveal the official unveiling date for the Mate 30 Lite although reports out of China have been suggesting that it could be announced in August next month.
