iQOO unveiled the iQOO 3 smartphone earlier this year. It debuted as one of the first Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered handset. Recently, a Vivo phone with model number V2024A was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The rumor mill speculated that it could be the iQOO 3 Pro smartphone. iQOO is yet to confirm the existence of the iQOO 3 Pro and the rumored iQOO Z1X mid-range 5G phone. A tipster from China recently shared the full specifications and pricing of the phone.
The tipster is of the view that the iQOO 3 Pro is a gaming version of the Vivo X50 that debuted recently in China. Readers are advised to take this report with a grain of salt and wait for more reports to know more about the upcoming iQOO phones.
iQOO 3 Pro Specifications (Unconfirmed)
The iQOO 3 Pro has a 6.56-inch Samsung E3 S-AMOLED display. It is the same screen that’s available on the Vivo X50 phone which comes with COP screen packaging technology. The screen supports the 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The iQOO 3 Pro draws power from a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging technology that can completely charge it in around 30 minutes. There is no support for wireless charging on the phone. The upcoming ROG Phone 3 from ASUS is expected to come with Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. Even the Lenovo’s Legion gaming phone is expected to feature it. The leak on iQOO 3 Pro states that its an SD865+ powered handset. The handset is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
It features a Sony IMX471 16-megapixel main shooter. The rear side of the phone has a triple camera system that includes a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel superwide lens and a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K4L6 portrait lens. The other features of the handset include Gorilla Glass 5 protection on front and rear with 6-series aluminum alloy frame, NFC support, X-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers and liquid cooling technology with graphite sheet heat dissipation.
iQOO 3 Pro Pricing
The iQOO 3 Pro is expected to arrive in three options in China such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These models could be priced 3,998 Yuan (~$565), 4,298 Yuan (~$607) and 4,698 Yuan (~$665), respectively.
