In April, Meizu had launched the Meizu 16s as the successor for the Meizu 16 smartphone from last year. However, it did not unleash a new smartphone to replace last year’s Meizu 16 Plus handset. Last month, a smartphone named Meizu 16s Pro was found listed on Chinese retailer site Taobao. Earlier this month, new Meizu phones with model numbers M937Q and M928Q was spotted receiving approval from National Radio Authority in China. Since the Meizu 16s phone has a model number of M971Q, it is speculated that the M973Q phone could be the Meizu 16s Pro. Now that the smartphone has bagged 3C approval which indicates that its arrival could be close at hand.
The above screenshot shows that the Meizu phone with model number M973Q is accompanied with UP0830S charger which carries support for up to 24W fast charging. The Meizu 16s is also equipped with 24W rapid charging.
The image of the Meizu 16s Pro that was revealed through its Taobao had revealed that it features a notch-less display with slim-bezels around it. Even though the top-bezel of the phone is very thin, it houses a selfie snapper. The rear shell of the phone features a triple camera unit. No other details are available on the specs of the phone. Probably, it could be yet another Snapdragon 855+ chipset powered flagship phone.
