Nokia 2 FCC Certification Reveals Four Variants

The Nokia 2 is the upcoming entry-level smartphone from the Finnish firm. The smartphone has recently received certification from Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The FCC certification has revealed that the Nokia 2 will be arriving in four variants such as TA-1007, TA-1023, TA-1029, and TA-1035.

Previous rumors have revealed that the Nokia 2 will be available in two chipset variants for different markets. The Nokia 2 with the alleged Snapdragon 212/210 chipset has already appeared on Geekbench. The company is also expected to release a MediaTek chipset variant of the Nokia 2 phone. Also, there could be single-SIM and dual-SIM variants of both the chipset variants of the Nokia 2.

The Nokia 2 is rumored to arrive with a 5-inch screen that will support an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The SoC of the phone will be coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It is expected to come with a rear-facing camera of 8-mgeapixel and a selfie snapper of 5-megapixel. A 2,800mAh battery is expected to power the smartphone.

Nokia will be holding an unveil event on Aug. 16 to unleash the much-awaited Nokia 8 Android flagship smartphone. However, the company is yet to confirm on the launch date for the Nokia 2. There is a possibility that the Nokia 2 may get unveiled alongside the Nokia 8 flagship at the upcoming unveil event.
