Nokia Android Phones Confirmed to Launch in the U.S.

HMD Global had relaunched Nokia at the start of this year and so far it has announced a couple of new phones such as Nokia 6, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3310. The Finnish company had confirmed earlier that it would be globally launching its smartphones in the second quarter of this year. However, it did not confirm the specific markets that will be receiving the new Nokia phones. However, a new tweet from the official Nokia Mobile account has revealed that Nokia Android phones would be coming to the U.S. markets.

A curious Nokia fan had questioned Nokia whether it will be releasing its new phones in the U.S. Nokia Mobile replied to him saying that since it plans to release its phones globally, its new smartphones would be also released in the U.S.

Some rumors hint that the Nokia Android phones may release before the month of May. The Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 are expected to be available with respective pricing of $230, $190 and $140. These phones are pegged to sell unlocked in the U.S. It means that these phones will only work on GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile and not on CDMA networks like Sprint and Verizon.
