OPPO has recently started teasing the arrival of the OPPO A15 smartphone in India. The handset has a promo page on the Amazon India website. The launch date of the phone is not revealed yet, but it is likely to go on sale through the upcoming Great Indian Sale that is set to begin on the retailer site on Oct. 17. The landing page of the phone on the retailer site is now updated with new information its rear cameras.
The Chinese manufacturer has revealed that the OPPO A15 is equipped with a triple camera system on its rear. It comprises of a 13-megapixel main shooter, a 2-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. These are housed inside a square-shaped module placed at the top-left corner of the device.
The rear side of the OPPO A15 is also equipped with a traditional fingerprint scanner. The other details of the smartphone are expected to be officially confirmed in the coming days. Some of the key specs of the device are already known through its FCC certification.
The FCC listing of the OPPO A15 revealed that the device has a CPH2185 model number and it houses a 4,230mAh battery with 10W charging support. The handset will offer users with connectivity ports such as a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port.
Apart from India, the OPPO A15 is also expected to arrive in Thailand, Indonesia, and Europe since it has bagged vital certifications in these markets. A tipster recently revealed the existence of what appears to be a variant of the OPPO A15. The device is dubbed as the OPPO A15s and it has received approval from ECC and IMDA (Singapore) authorities. There is no information available on the specs of the OPPO A15s handset.
