Upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) spotted in a leaked hands-on video

We all know that Samsung will soon be unveiling a couple of new smartphones from the Galaxy A series with one of the handset being the Galaxy A8+ (2018). Courtesy of a newly leaked hands-on video, we’re now able to take a good look at the upcoming Galaxy A8+ at all angles even before the device had been made official by the Korean company.

Aside from that, the Galaxy A8+ official specs had also been revealed in the same video as well. In case you do not want to run through the whole 3 minutes long video, here is a quick round up of its key specs. To begin, the new Galaxy A8+ will sport a 6-inches 1080x2220px Super AMOLED display which is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7885 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space.

As expected, the device will be the first Galaxy smartphone to feature a dual front-facing selfie cam that comprises of a pair of 16 megapixel and 8 megapixel sensors. On the flip side, there will be a 16 megapixel main snapper coupled with a LED flash toward its right. Similarly, you can also find a fingerprint sensor located slightly beneath the main camera compartment. To keep its lights on, there will be a 3,500mAh battery under the hood that can keep the device running for a decent amount of time. Its good to know that the Galaxy A8+ also carries a IP68 certification for water and dust resistance as well.

Right now, Samsung has yet to reveal when this device will be made official although speculations have it that the device could go on sale by the end of December this month.
