It has been officially revealed on Xiaomi’s Weibo account that the Xiaomi Mi 6 would be unveiled on April 19.
The official teaser of Xiaomi Mi 6 launch states, “You waited 203 days, we waited 7 years.” The number of days mentioned here refers to the time of the release of Xiaomi Mi 5S and the phone will be announced after 7 years of its existence.
The launch event will be held on April 19 at the Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium. Xiaomi is currently receiving registration on this page for the upcoming launch event. Speculations suggest that the next generation flagship from Xiaomi would be launching as MI 6 and Mi 6 Plus. Both phones will be driven by Snapdragon 835 and the Mi 6 Plus is expected to come with a dual rear camera.
