Xiaomi Mi 6X to come with vertically aligned dual-camera

Although the Xiaomi Mi 5X was announced just slightly more than 5 months ago, but there are already information surfacing around the web suggesting that its Xiaomi Mi 6X successor will be coming with a vertically aligned dual-camera – something similar to that of the iPhone X.

Along with this new rumor, there is also a freshly leaked phone casing of the Xiaomi Mi 6X which reaffirmed the existence of a vertical camera setup on the handset. This doesn’t caught us by surprise given that the Chinese company already has a good track record of being a pioneer in new features and design among the rest of the Chinese smartphone makers. Other than the dual-camera setup on its rear chassis, the Mi 6X will also be affixed with a fingerprint sensor on its back as well.

If these images are indeed the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6X’s, then it may suggest that the device could soon be pushed into the production line and may be unveiled earlier than July next year. On the other side of the news, another set of rumors are also claiming that the Mi 6X could be featuring Xiaomi’s in-house Surge processor instead of the Snapdragon chip this time round. Whatever it is, let’s take them with just a pinch of salt for now as we’re still relatively far away from its unveiling.
