The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is launching tomorrow, and the rumor mill has revealed plenty of information on its specs and design. Today, Xiaomi President Lin Bin has took to Weibo to confirm the key specs of the Mi Max 3.
As it can be seen in the above, the Mi Max 3 will come with improvements like display, battery, chipset and cameras when compared to predecessor model. Also, he handset will be packed with plenty of AI features for better photography experience.’
The image confirms that the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be arriving with a 6.9-inch display that produces an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Mi Max 2 model had featured 16:9 aspect ratio screen of 6.44 inches. The 5,500mAh battery of the Mi Max 3 will carry support for Quick Charge 3.0. The predecessor model came with smaller 5,300mAh battery that lacked support for fast charging.
The Snapdragon 636 SoC will be the driving force of Mi Max 3. The Mi Max 2 is fueled by an ageing Snapdragon 625 SoC. The Max 3 will be the first phone on its series to feature a dual camera as it is expected to include 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. The Mi Max 2 has a front camera of 5-megapixel. However, the successor model will be arriving with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
