During Xiaomi’s Mega Launch event last month, the company also took the opportunity to introduce the all-new Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 that brings along several crucial upgrades over last year’s Mi Smart Band 5.
Now, the new fitness tracker had achieved an impressive start in the Malaysian market having its pre-order units sold out in just 12 hours. In the Malaysian market, the Mi Smart Band 6 is priced at RM189 (US$46) though its only sold at RM169 (US$41) during the pre-order period.
As a quick recap, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 brings along a 1.56” large full screen AMOLED touch display that offers a 152 x 486 pixels screen resolution and a peak brightness of 450 nits.
In terms of functionalities, it boasts a total of 30 different workout types and is able to automatically detect 6 common fitness activities. Furthermore, it also supports a good selection of health monitoring features like SpO2 measurement, heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring, sleep tracking, as well as female health tracking.
According to Xiaomi, the Mi Smart Band 6 is capable of providing up to 14 days worth of battery life and is certified with 5 ATM water resistance.
