If you can still remember, last month we reported that Oppo R9 had successfully overtaken iPhone by becoming the best-selling smartphone in China last year. Today, the Chinese company is back to the headline once again, this time round owing to the success of its higher-end Oppo R9S model.
According to reports, more than 3 million Oppo R9S had been sold in China back in January alone – setting up a new record for having the most number of smartphones sold within a month.
Since its official unveiling back in October last year, the Oppo R9S had already sold nearing 10 million units worldwide as of January. This translates to approximately 1 unit being sold every 0.9 seconds.
