A new rumor out of China has claimed that Xiaomi will be releasing an upgraded version of the current Redmi Note 4 early next year, which will be carrying the Note 4X moniker this round.
This rumor of course, come directly from renowned Chinese leaker @Review_xiaokang who also confirmed on his Weibo post that the Redmi Note 4X will be powered by a Snapdragon 653 SoC instead of the Helio X20 SoC. Similarly, its memory compartment will also be upgraded to a 4GB+64GB configuration up from the 3GB+64GB setup.
Even though he does not specifically reveal its unveiling date, but the current chattering around the micro-blogging site seems to hint on an early Q1 release date as the Chinese manufacturer is also set to unveil the new Redmi Note 5 later in the year.
