The Honor 8 Lite bears semblance with the Huawei P8 Lite that was leaked recently and there are suggestions that both are the same smartphone which would only go on sale with separate names in different markets. The location of the rear camera, fingerprint sensor and absence of a physical home button all point at the same design.

The specifications are also almost similar, with the only difference being that, while the Honor 8 Lite features a 12MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, the P8 Lite features a 12MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. In other specs, the smartphone sports a 5.2-inch LTPS display with Full HD (1080 p) resolution and a 2.5D glass on top protecting the screen from scratch. The sleek smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 chip which is capable of delivering users’ satisfaction. The processor is complemented by 3GB of RAM while there is on 16GB of storage on the device which is believed to be expandable.

On the camera plane, the Honor 8 Lite comes with a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture while there is an 8MP camera with 77-degree angle of view up front. The Honor 8 Lite is available in black, blue, white colors and is presently up for pre-orders in Finland for 269 Euros. The mid-ranger will go on sale on February 17.
