OnePlus had officially confirmed that their upcoming flagship will be named OnePlus 5, just like what previous rumors had suggested. This news came directly from The Verge, which got hold of this information directly from the Shenzhen-based company.
According to the same source, it was also reported that the device will be announced later this summer as well. Sad to say, there is yet to be any official specs revealed so far although the rumor mill do give of some heads up on what to expect from this highly anticipated handset.
If rumors are true, then the OnePlus 5 will be coming with a 5.5″ QHD display powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage space under its memory compartment. Camera-wise, there will be a 23 megapixels dual-camera located at the back of the device.
